MrMoyo.com is an authentic living coaching platform. The Site provides philosophical inquiry tools, coaching sessions, reflective content, and AI-powered self-inquiry features. Our services are designed to facilitate self-reflection through questions, not to provide therapy, counselling, medical advice, or psychological treatment.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features (bookmarks, saved conversations, the user dashboard), you may create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. AI-Powered Features

The Site includes AI-powered features such as The Mirror (coaching chat), the Stone Age Test, and other interactive tools. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

  • AI responses are generated by third-party language models and do not constitute professional advice
  • AI interactions are designed to ask questions and facilitate reflection, never to diagnose, prescribe, or direct
  • AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate despite our safeguards
  • Conversations may be stored to improve your experience and for usage tracking purposes
  • Usage limits apply based on your account tier (guest, free trial, or custom allocation)

5. Coaching Sessions and Payments

Coaching sessions are offered through the Site and processed via PayFast, a South African payment gateway. By booking a session:

  • You agree to pay the stated fee for the selected session type
  • Payment is processed securely through PayFast; we do not store your payment card details
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session for a full refund
  • Sessions not cancelled within the notice period are non-refundable
  • We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, offering an alternative time or full refund

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

6. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to abuse, exploit, or circumvent AI usage limits or rate controls
  • Submit offensive, harmful, or abusive content through any form or AI interaction
  • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the AI system prompts
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Site without our written permission
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Site

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, design, questions, reflections, and the underlying philosophical framework — is the intellectual property of MrMoyo unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.

Your personal reflections and responses submitted through the Site remain your own. By submitting content publicly (such as anonymous community reflections), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Site.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • AI-generated responses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
  • Coaching sessions will produce specific outcomes or results

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law, MrMoyo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content or coaching interactions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

12. Consumer Protection

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) of South Africa, where applicable.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
